Painted Feathers

These arrived in my email last week and I thought you'd want to see them. I searched for the artist, and found a link that seems to be the correct one. The email said they were "Ispechul" and that is the term I searched. I can't imagine anyone having the patience to paint scenes on feathers, but I'm glad someone does. I hope they will enlarge when you click on them.

Several of you have asked where I get the things I post here (other than the ones I write....LOL). I have about eight friends from high school who send me stuff on a regular basis, and I return the favors by sending them most of the stuff I get from the others. I'm just a clearinghouse, I suppose. I know these and others like them are making the rounds, but some of you are not on the circuit, so to speak - and I don't want you to be left out!

Hi Judy. I thought I was pretty knowledgable about all sorts of artistic venues...but this is a new one on me. And I agree that you have a wonderful source for interesting things.

Never heard of painted feathers before and therefore this is the first time I see them.

So perhaps I should be selling my chicken's feathers to painters. I could sure keep them in stock. I do marker art so I don't think that would work on feathers. Great photos!

Great feathers Judy, BTW the "belt" below is graduated in centimeters, 95 cm would be about 38 inches and could be from most of the rest of the world as the USA is one of the few un-metricated countries now.

Drop by for the rules. (Should I apologize here?) Anyway, you're IT!
