These arrived in my email last week and I thought you'd want to see them. I searched for the artist, and found a link that seems to be the correct one. The email said they were "Ispechul" and that is the term I searched. I can't imagine anyone having the patience to paint scenes on feathers, but I'm glad someone does. I hope they will enlarge when you click on them.
Several of you have asked where I get the things I post here (other than the ones I write....LOL). I have about eight friends from high school who send me stuff on a regular basis, and I return the favors by sending them most of the stuff I get from the others. I'm just a clearinghouse, I suppose. I know these and others like them are making the rounds, but some of you are not on the circuit, so to speak - and I don't want you to be left out!

Hi Judy. I thought I was pretty knowledgable about all sorts of artistic venues...but this is a new one on me. And I agree that you have a wonderful source for interesting things.
Absolutely beautiful.
Kenju, you do post THE MOST interesting stuff!!
They do embiggen and are amazing. BTW I am presently painting rusty garden chair legs. Does that count?
Beautiful!
Amazing. The artwork and the concept. I wonder how the artisit preserves it ? I shall have to chek it out.
Never heard of painted feathers before and therefore this is the first time I see them.
I am impressed, they are so beautifully painted!! Glad we are not left out :)
So perhaps I should be selling my chicken's feathers to painters. I could sure keep them in stock. I do marker art so I don't think that would work on feathers. Great photos!
Great feathers Judy, BTW the "belt" below is graduated in centimeters, 95 cm would be about 38 inches and could be from most of the rest of the world as the USA is one of the few un-metricated countries now.
Judy ~ I love the artful feathers~ THX! ~ jb///
I saw some painted feathers at a craft show a while ago. They are beautiful.
Oh, I'm so embarrassed that we're un-metricated! How gauche. I'm a long-time lurker here. Lovin you more and more each time I drop by. I hope you won't mind that I'm here today to . . . . TAG! you. I'm looking forward to learning more about your world.
Drop by for the rules. (Should I apologize here?) Anyway, you're IT!
They are stunning. I think all the peacocks are going to be jealous. ;)
Hmmm. Painting feathers is an odd niche to get into. Interesting.
Beautiful! Who'd a thunk you could paint on feathers.
....really amazing, stunning, creative. All on feathers!!!
These are extraordinary! I've never seen anything like them anywhere, before! Thanks so much Judy for posting these....AS you said, I cannot magine painting on feathers---particularly such complex scenes and Sooo Beautifully!
