This picture cracked me up. When I was in grade school, once a year the WCTU ladies came and harangued us, then made us stand up and swear exactly what your picture title said.
We have a saying in AA, Judy. It is "we are not a glum lot". That picture is a perfect example of what NOT to do to get someone sober! Egads...that's one angry bunch of women.

They look mean and scary. Not a very good incentive to do anything except drink more.
LOL, give them a small drink and they would most certainly look nicer and happier :)

I think it might take more than a good stiff drink to soften those specimens of women!
