According to the email this arrived in, this spotted guy (I think it is a carp) is 55 pounds and 56" long. I wonder how long it took to land him?
I haven't been fishing since I was about 6 years old. My aunt took me to Lake Pymatuning in Ohio, and I promptly caught six or seven fish with no problem. Beginner's luck, I'd say!

I prefer the fisherman to the fish! ;)
Rest well at the weekend.
Fishy story it is!!!! ;)
That is a major fish. Goodness me.
Michele sent me to say "Hi."
Good lord, that's not a fish, it's a suitcase!
Wasn't sure if you'd get skipped (like I did!) so I popped over from Michele's.
I posted a ton of NYC photos.
You have to see MacKenzie-Childs. I think you would like them.

Wow. That is some fish. It doesn;t need exaggeration for effect. Here today to say 'Hi', via Michele's!

Why am I not surprised you knew who they were. ;) Our first home had tons of stripes and checks and M-C influence.

I look forward to seeimg the pictures of what you have bee working on, Judy....! I'm sure it is BEAUTIFUL---because, whatever you create is Very Very Beautiful!
I think he's going to need a bigger boat.
Seems to me a fishy tale!
Good to be here from Michele's M&G!
Hey,
Michele sent me to say "Hello!" and I'm glad she did... that is one huge fish!
Hi, there. Great pic! I thought I'd drop by and say hello after trying to play Michele's game twice. :) (BTW, you don't need an invitation to read my blog, I'm at http://scarlet1216.blogspot.com)
that's a weird looking fish--or a funny angle. Trout season is just a few weeks off, but right now the streams are so full of water it wouldn't be safe to get in 'em.
holy crap
I've seen a lot of carp on the end of a fish line, but never saw one spotted or that big.
Lake Pymatuning was the site often mentioned by my Mom when telling me of her youth -- a very popular place in her day.
The biggest I caught was a perch - about 6" long - give or take a couple of inches. We ate it.
