The Rest from Fearrington

The trash can had a nice motto:  "If we all hold hands we can't fight."This ceiling medallion, made many years ago by Jenny Fitch, consists of preserved magnolia leaves.
Cake anyone? Or maybe some small trays to serve it on. I love the one that says..."Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting." I'll just bet that it is!!
How about some candles "from the deep sea?"These felted animals and ornaments remind me of my blog friend Vicki, who makes her own felted objects. Small pine cone candles....
A nice quote....
A driftwood horse....
and the doves who give the Dovecote its name!  We enjoyed our visit to Fearrington and I hope all of you did too.

Thanks, I enjoyed a virtual browse through the shop--and the no calories chocolate cake, excellent!

What an ingenious ceiling medallion. I so enjoy seeing the end result of the creative imaginations of others, it alters my own imagination a little each time, ;-)

We like to go to a place that has many quotations and pithy (I love that word, pithy,) sayings.

The one over the bar says in capital letters:

"NO MATTER HOW PRETTY SHE IS OR HOW GOOD SHE LOOKS,SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE IS SICK OF HER SH*T."

I think your photos look find in this post. I cannot post that many pictures in a single post on my blog. It is strange how our use of blogger varies from one computer to another.

The ceiling medallion is great. I've never seen anything quite like it. I love the quotes you have scattered in this post and I'm trying not to keep looking back at those tempting desserts. They look scrumptious.

Blogger can be so frustrating! I hope your issues resolve quickly. Would love to see all those hundreds of vases filled with flowers!

Thanks for blog visits. :)
