Back in the '20s near the beach; two of mr. kenju's uncles and cousins.

The man on the right is mr. kenju's father, and that's mr. k on the grass.

Mr. Kenju's cousin, in WW2.

I love looking at old photos. I kept looking at the centre one. Something was getting to me about the middle one and then it hit me it doesn't look so very old. The shorts are similar to what men are wearing now and also the hairstyles. I find it hard to think it's from the twenties. What a difference a climate makes. I have never seen an old photo from our album with people wearing so little. All mine the stars are clad from ankle to neck. :)

The middle one was from the 40's; I didn't make that clear.

Love the pants inside the socks military look but then I like the plus fours golf pants and the baseball players who do that today.
Maybe I just like mens ankles.

They were having fun with the fellow on the left in that middle picture.... noticed the ball on top of his head.... wonder if he did.

That pants inside the socks look is what I do when I work next to the preserve.... the ticks are so bad... white pants, white socks, long sleeved shirts, and extra light colored stockings with toe cut out on wrists and hands... well... looks really strange but does make it easier to see any ticks and get them off before going in the house.

What GREAT pictures, Judy...I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, old pictures....!And it's always fun to see pictures from the 1940's, including and especially, our men in uniform.
Mr. K's father, by the way, is a very good looking man! I can see where Mr. K gets his good looks!
