Nora and the Frog

This little guy was resting on the top of the pool skimmer this morning. I think he was trying to decide if the water was too cold for a swim. I could have told him it IS!

On the way back into the house, I decided I ought to show you the newest plants. They got a late start, but I hope that by the end of August they will be lush and hanging over the sides of the pots. See how nicely they are being guarded by the green frog? His job is to keep insects at bay.

:://::\\::

Cat lovers and pianists should go here fast and see Nora! Then come back and tell me what you think.

Gosh that frog is big.

The cats are more musical than I am! :(

Lovely shots! Beautiful flowers, look forward to seeing them as they grow. That is a contemplative looking frog! Love it!

Some cats love to play... some cats just love to sit next to the piano player and listen... Mr. Rhett and Miss Scarlett do that.

Love the frog... or toad... I saw that some storms came through your area last night... just rain here without the storms, thank goodness. Daisy gets hysterical with thunder.

I loved the cats tuning the piano. Speaking of frogs, my grandson found a big one in the garden yesterday.

Maybe the frog was there to clean the pool?

I have three or four frogs but they are quite boring and never move.

Darn, I wish I had better computer speed. Videos take me FOREVER to view. The duet was priceless and it did make me laugh out loud.
Kitten on the keys-- well done.

This sure made me miss the big old frogs we had in our pond in Kansas!

I was captured by Nora's playing and could not stop watching each video. Maybe we should get a piano for our barn cats so they can begin entertaining the outdoor life around here.

We've been having lots of frogs on our porches lately. I just love them! I know you do too.
Your froggies (both real and fake) are very cute fellers to have around.
