*********

Nothing is illegal if one hundred businessmen decide to do it. (or maybe 100 politicians!)

Andrew Young, author, civil rights activist, US congressman, mayor, and UN ambassador (b. 1932)

*********

The latest Andr*w Y*ung in the news is the right-hand-man to former Senat*r Edw*rds, the one who claimed to be the father of Ri*lle's baby. The very one who hired me to decorate the Edw*rd's Christmas tree (in their R*leigh home) two years in a row, while the Edw*rd's were living in W*shington, DC. Is he the father? I doubt it. Did he take the blame to shield the Senat*r? Probably. I wonder how much he was paid to do that?!

*********

Journalists do not believe the lies of politicians, but they do repeat them -- which is even worse!

Michel Colucci, comedian and actor (1944-1986)

*********

Men build too many walls and not enough bridges.

Isaac Newton, philosopher and mathematician (1642-1727)

I've been working for the last three days, so if I didn't get around for a visit, you know why.

Love the quotes!

My great-great-great-great-great grandpa from Aberdeen's blood says I'd best check out the tartan site which I no doubt will adore.

I agree with Colucci!
I am entitled to wear my husband's tartan and have two kilts; one everyday Mackay and one dress Mackay - I had to marry him first:)

I loved the tartan plaid sight. My design was lovely. If my mother were still living I would have her weave it for me. She did beautiful work and would have loved doing this.

The Maxine cartoon is too much on target to be very funny!

I envy you knowing how to post Maxine on your site. I posted one on my blog by copying and pasting, but don't know how to embed one.

I love Maxine and tartan plaids. I brought a kilt home from Scotland, but the moths loved it too. Sob!

Family with no money... I can relate to that kind of stress. Well, I wouldn't say NO money, just NOT ENOUGH money.

:-)

Hey, I'd claim to be the father of that baby, if they'd pay me lots of money.
