Ever Feel Like This?

Now you know how I feel today...LOL... and I assure you I'm NOT the dog!

Just kidding! It was another beautiful day in the neighborhood (with apologies to Mr. Rogers), and our son came to visit with his family. We enjoyed the fresh air, sitting on our deck and watching our new cheerleader (and her little sister) do cheers for our benefit. We had to do some serious coaxing, however. For some odd reason, she didn't want to show us what she has learned.

Church held a great lesson for me today, about using our anger constructively, in a way that doesn't harm others. I needed that. Now, if only I can remember it when I need to!

Afterward, I went to the grocery and found NY strip steak on sale; I bought some for dinner and made mr. kenju a verrrrrry happy man! Tomorrow, the physical therapy treadmill starts again. I hope all of you have a great week.

If my husband was recovering from surgery and I was looking after him while running a business and the multitude of other things you do, I believe I would run away screaming if the kids came to visit. Are you a real person or just making all this stuff up?

That picture is priceless, Judy! LOL! Really really wonderful....!
I'm glad you had another wonderful day, my dear....we can all use those, and these days...YOU, especially!

About seeing SPOON RIVER on TV....The only show we were on was THE TODAY SHOW....they gave us a whole half hour....Hugh downs had seen the show and absolutely fell in love with it, and that is why we were on there...We did a semi-short segmant and then Hugh Downs interviewed us all about the show. It was really what put us over the top....The Power Of Television...And Word of mouth, too...Some people came back and saw the show many many times....!
An Amazing Experience---the whole thing.

Hi, Kenju! I'm coming from Granny Annie's but I'm pretty sure I've seen your comments on another blog or two I read as well. I really enjoyed my visit here...I'm so sorry to hear of your husband's physical problems of late! I've been married 33 years and I've been thru surgery with my Dear Hubby when he had a kidney removed. Thankfully, he's been blessed with good health since then..31 years ago! Our daughter was 6 months old at the time. I hope you'll stop by and say hello when you get a chance! Enjoy your week! It's raining and cool here in Portland!

I like that dog! Glad you had a good day and Mr. Kenju is doing well. I know some folks that I could send to your church... or was that lesson for me?

Hooray for family visits and such, and for gorgeous weather.

Sorry that you felt smooshed and smashed and smothered today.
Cute pic!!
I remember when my niece was little. She was a cheerleader for some pee wee team.
I can remember one of her cheers and the way she said it with her little speech impediment:
"How funky is yo chicken? How loose is yo goose? Come on evewybody & shake yo caboose!"

Best regards to Mr. Kenju!!!!!

Aww, poor kitty.

Your day sounds as if it was indeed beautiful, which is how my entire week as been. (deep sigh)

Although it is always nice to be offered a good lesson, I imagine that you are able to deal with everything constructively. Also, it is not possible for me to imagine you doing any harm to anyone. Ever.

A cheerleader? Such a talent - trust me, I know of what I speak.

Have a glorious week, and yes, I sent me. (wink)

I have an appointment to get my eyes tested but i can't make out what the dog is doing.
Trouble with anger mine erupts rarely but when it does it is so explosive there isnt time to re-direct it and people take to the hills. Better out than in.
Hope the therapy goes well and you are both keeping a SOH. Not easy I know.

So, I clicked onto your blog, saw that picture, and laughed out very loudly indeed. My Hooligans both looked around to see what had caused that.

cute picture...

One thing I liked about Yoga and Wicca is that it helped with my aggressive feelings....

My family always said as I grew up do me once I will do you twice and bragged about their anger and violence as if it was something to be proud of

When I got away from them and found Wicca and Yoga I learned how to quell what needed to be quelled, find peace in my center and to use anger to motivate me to live better and in a positive manner

I went to see my family and was told OH my your so... calm now

Great photo Judy.....hope you're out from underneath now! thinking of you......good to see you are maintaining your fabulous sense of humour.

ps. I just met a man...don't know his first name, but his last name was Outhouse......thought you may want to add that to your name list. I was DYING to ask him what his first name was, but I figured if I stayed on the topic I would laugh impulsively or something rude. So, I changed the subject and moved on.

heehee
