I want my ashes scattered at the duck pond in the park near my home and if you want the follow up line, you'll have to email me! I'm trying very hard to be good!
Very cute. :) re: Ram Dass book... I read all those books in my early NA days... Seth, Ramtha (oy), Ram Dass, Life and Times of the Masters of the Far East, Castanada... etc. Fond memories. But you know... personal evolution is like peeling an onion... we just go deeper and deeper, don't we. :) ~S
I don't think I want people to laugh at my grave marker, Judy. Actually, I don't want a marker of any sort. I like being secretive! An unmarked hole in the ground would be good.
Thats brilliant lol. Thanks for the laugh. I think if a person can still make us laugh or smile after they are gone..it's special indeed. ...To immediately evoke possitive feels...or memories is a gift.
That's a great story, my grandmother was just like that ... the mothball queen LOL.
Glad to hear you've been to Cedar Creek before - come out this weekend, it's our 40th fall festival and it's gonna be special. I'm demonstrating glass-blowing with Lisa, come up and say hi!

My mom insists on being tossed onto a bonfire...her will will probably stipulate that we roast marshmallows and everything.
That's a good picture. My husband is buried near a power pole. He was an electrician. We didn't plan it that way.

Great sense of humour. One I have always liked is the the inscription on Spike Milligans (British comedian) grave. It reads "I told you I was ill".
LOL
Thanks for the laugh. I bet she was a fun gal!
Loved this one Judy....
All us fortyoner's must have a good sense of humor.
And as far as Kay's duck pond - I have a strong suspicion about this one.... lol
I have a feeling that mine will have something to do with a credit card if my family have anything to say about it.
thanks for the laugh this morning.
:)

I hope you start to feel better soon, Judy.

Fabulous picture and a great sense of humor...I would have loved to know her before she expired! Thanks for the good laugh Judy!

One of the best I ever saw was:
"Ma loved Pa.
Pa loved wimmin.
Ma caught Pa
With two in swimmin.
Here lies Pa."
Ha!
Great photo--who gets to collect the coins!
Sage, I assume if it still says expired, there are NO coins!
Okay, now I understand your comment. H did do the trick...ON MY BRAIN!!!
