Tagged Again!

I think it was Utenzi who tagged me for this one (but I can't remember).

Here goes, first with the rules and then with the answers and then the tags.

1. You have to post these rules before you give the facts.

2. You must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had.

3. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag.

Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

My middle name (although I cannot believe I'm sharing it here) is Rue so I have to come up with 3 relevant facts:

R: "reader" - that I am. Give me any book and I can get lost in it. I will admit that since I started blogging, I am not reading as much as I used to, but I will never stop reading. Getting lost with my imagination in books has been a favorite thing to do since I was in grade school. I was Nancy Drew. I was Cherry Ames. I pretended to be The Bobbsey Twins. All summer long, my mom would take me to the library every week, and I would pick out 6-8 books, all of which were read and re-read as much as possible.

U: "Useful" - I try to be useful. When I have a job to do, I am thorough and purposeful until it is done (as long as I am getting paid for it). If I am not being paid, then whether or not I am useful depends on the nature of the task...LOL

E: " Educated" - I hope that I am. I did go to college, but that in and of itself does not make an educated person. I have known people who did not get any higher education at all, but their level of common sense and their voluminous and eclectic reading made them as smart as any Ph. D. I have known.

Now I have to nominate 3 others for this meme. I choose Naomi, Pat and Jamie Dawn. I hope you will do this meme and enjoy the process as much as we will enjoy reading them.

Wow, good thing you didn't tag me. My middle name is Jo. It would have been a VERY short post!!

I'm trying to play catch up. So many posts to read. I haven't been here since my computer died!

Hello, Michelle sent me!

I was tagged for this, too - but I'm thinking of using my daughter's middle name because I don't like mine. I like hers a lot. I guess I should, since I gave it to her!

I'm a reader, too - but 'R' is not a letter I get to use. :( I loved the books you mentioned - Nancy Drew and Cherry Ames and the Bobbsey Twins.

Judith Rue! Get in here this minute!!!!
I'm trying to sound like an exasperated mother.
I've yelled, "Taylor James!!!!" many a time over the years. :-)

Being highly educated does not mean a person is wise. It's a good thing that you seem to have both knowledge and wisdom.

I will do this meme when my vacation episodes are finished. This is a fun one! I will put it in my blogger drafts so I don't forget.

Weren't you lucky to have such a short middle name for this meme? ;)
Seemed quite unusual to me!

Judy - forgive me but I'm in a me me free zone, as my blog is one long me me and I don't want to bore the pants off everybody. I can't get over your middle name. I have never heard it before but it is so poetic. I hope your mother was thinking of the plant. BTW my middle name is Dixon.

I think Judy Rue is cute! :)
I always wondered if Rue was short for something (as in Rue McLanahan).

I am a reader too, Judy, but I confess that since I started blogging, I am not reading as much as I used to.

I totally agree with you about educated people.
