I'm a Convert!

I said I would never wear shoes like this, but 2 minutes in the shoe store was all it took. These were bought at an outlet mall in North Myrtle Beach. Wheeeee......comfort and a bargain at the same time! They're so bouncy to walk in, they're cool and if you get wet - who cares? They have replaced my beloved moccasins around the house (sorry Mamacita and Minnetonka), and I may never take them off, except for bed.

They aren't that famous brand that people buy at well-known card shops - but then they were $10 cheaper - which pleases me no end! I wish I could buy them in all colors.

Have you worn shoes like these? Would you?

An old story from my previous blog is published at Time Goes By today. You can read it here.

I've always had a lot of shoes, but I long ago gave up style for comfort. I wind up wearing the same few pairs because they are so comfortable. These look very comfy. Yep, I'd wear them in a minute.

My husband wears a pair around the house and working in the back yard. He loves them, bought them overseas. Our son teases him about them.

I live in my many pair of Birkenstock. Comfort first for my flat feet.

I have an aversion toward those shoes, like you do. But I have heard they are comfortable...

Whoa! Imitation Birkenstocks. Gotta be the best thing since sliced cherry pits.

They are real cute, Judy...And NO, I have never worn them....But they sure do look comfy!

I knew that DINSING was German, but wasn't really sure if that was the Mfc's name....Most likely ir is, as you saud.
I do dearly love that little stove, still!

I live in Birkenstocks. I mocked the croc so long and so hard that I'd have to move out of the country if I wore them now. (But everyone who tries them says they are very comfortable.)

No, but tennis shoes are my thing! Here from Michele's place!! :)

Look at you with your fancy linking! :-)

These shoes are indeed comfortable, but the best thing about them is that they make me laugh at myself - and hard - everytime I see them on my feet.

I wear a sneaker version of those for work.

I rec'd special permission from the Big Boss due to the PsA.

I wouldn't trade them for the world.

I don't own a pair, but would wear them if I did. I've heard they're very comfy. I'm either barefoot or sandals in summer, Land's End Mocs in winter.

My grand kids wear these shoes, and I can't believe how lightweight they are. I think I'd look very stumpy and dumpy wearing them, but I envy the comfort. I am usually barefoot, or in sandals.

I know someone who has a pair of these in lime green. So they do feel good? I have always had trouble keeping these kind of shoes on my feet!

Currently, I am experiencing computer trouble. I have found a makeshift solution.... my tower is on its side with the back facing a large pedestal fan.... I think a fan has gone out. It comes on long enough to get everything started then suddenly puts itself to sleep. And I can't wake it back up with the mouse or keyboard. I really need to let someone look at it as the sound went months ago and the pink stripes still show up on and off and now this.

So they're good, eh? I always think they won't, even though I do hear that they are. Maybe I'll check them out.
My grandparents live in North Myrtle Beach- LOVE the shopping there! :)

I too have a pair of the "knock-off" brand of CROKS or CROCS or however it is spelled.

You can see the ones I own in this post http://canyouhearmenow.typepad.com/index/2007/06/sharing_a_few_p.html

I'm with you. They are comfortable and easy to care for. If they get dirty, just wash them off with the hose and they dry in no time because water can't penetrate the material they are made from (special plastic I believe) They were also cheap

I looked for them all over last summer but the only ones I found in my size were shocking pink or electric green...But now I have a pair of black ones and love them, love them. I wear them around the house all the time, they are wonderful to wear in the garden and at the beach. Perfect footwear!

They look very comfortable. I'm a flip flop kind of guy in the summer, but I'd give those a try.

I heard they were meant to be used by gardners and believe me, they are here too, all kinds of colors, I might get one soon...

My mother has those in every colour that she wold never need. She loves them and has tried to get me to try a pair on. It has not worked, I doubt it will.

Yes, they look comfortable and I have heard they are wonderful. But, as you know Ms. Kenju - comfort is not high on my list when it comes to shoes.

But I am happy you have happy feet.

I have 2 pair and wear them everywhere whether they look good/right or not. They are wonderfully comfortable.

I have a pair on right now! they are ugly as all get out, but the comfort is terrific. plus, they are great to wear in the garden mucking about. you just have to spray them clean.

I love them!!

We bought them for the kids last summer. They still wear them every day, and love them to pieces.

I refuse to get rid of my old Columbia sandals. I know these plasticky shoes are comfy and cool, but I hate being trendy, and I don't want to switch over to these and then worry about whether I'm in or out of fashion.

I hate that scene, anyway. Give me a big t-shirt, cargo shorts and my sandals and I'll be happy.

I am all about comfort, but I can't stand those shoes. Sorry!! Nothing personal. ha.
