Here from Michele's. What a sad way to die. How awful that most of us probably find it more than a little amusing, though. (My comments have worked fine all day, but if they don't, and you happen to visit, feel free to email melissa AT missmeliss DOT com.)
Now that is really strange!Beware of yawning hippo's!
That reminds me of "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" from days gone by.
very absurd....i just e-mailed it to my husband b/c he has a strange obsesion with dwarfs!
Hungry, hungry hippo, indeed!Ick! I'm sorry I read this BEFORE having breakfast!
HOLY CARP! That makes you wonder about how bad you think your day was, doesn't it. I mean, I had a busy day dealing with whiny, cranky people, but I didn't get swallowed by a hippo!
Is this for real? I honestly don't know whether to laugh or cry. Here from Michele's.
Poor little guy!
Judy! New blog?? What fun!
Too, too strange and sad. I'm reading Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi right now. It's about a dwarf. So this story really, really bothers me.
Heh...It's only funny because I seriously doubt it's true.
That had Urban Legend written ALL over it!! Anyone whose ever seen a hippo knows how small their throat opening is which is why they have big pulverizing jaws/teeth! It would have had to be a Leprechaun! lol~S :)
P.S.And since it's not true, we can laugh! ~S
Don't be sorry its not true Judy, I'll bet Od isn't!!!!I read somewhere that LOTS of people are killed by Hippo's in the water, must research it to see if that one is true.
That damn Snopes spoils so much fun! LOL
