"If people have perfect pitch, it merely means that they memorized all the notes on a particular instrument before they were around six years old. These people generally have high levels of musical skill, but this has nothing to do with their perfect pitch ability (which is rather useless). They usually have excellent musical skills simply because they started their musical training before they were six years old. Most musical skill comes as a result of training rather than inspiration: the earlier you begin, the better you will be."

The link goes well with the digital Christmas story that is going around on Facebook. Thanks for the link.
Ecclesiastes 4:6 - Now if I could just get my life that way. j
That story is unique...must admit.
It reminds me of the many uses of mathematics.
Loved the story, just had to laugh. Aren't we lucky it really happened 2000 years ago?
The quote on perfect pitch makes me feel better about my lack of musical talent. I was just underexposed.
Link: great fun:)
Love the quotes and the old story with a new twist!
Musician husband has perfect pitch and has always insisted that I, too, can learn to be a musician. No way! I can sing on key and that's about it. 3 part harmony scares me!
Great quotes, Judy!
I wish you and yours a Happy Christmas!
