KENTUCKY ... Has more than $6 billion in gold
underneath Fort Knox.

LOUISIANA ... Has parishes instead of counties
because they were originally Spanish church units.

MAINE ... It's so big, it covers as many square miles
as the other five New England states combined.

MARYLAND ... The Ouija board was created in Baltimore in 1892.

MASSACHUSETTS ... The Fig Newton is named after
Newton, Massachusetts.

Now that was interesting. As for those diamonds in Arkansas, they are only safe till the weather clears, then they are MINE.

The most shopping malls, huh? I think that's kind of sad. I'd love to go back to the little mom and pop neighborhood store. But I guess that's just me.

I can't help wondering who exactly reads those letters to Santa in Santa Claus and if they reply? Also, I must find out what a Fig Newton is!

I think these are very telling about the states and their population....I'm not surprised at California....wasteful/excessive state...I lived there for over 50 years.
