Of all the stupid times not to have my camera with me!! Tonight we were in a restaurant downtown, with 3 friends. I was facing the windows and suddenly I looked up and there was the most exquisite rainbow I have ever seen. It was very wide and very bright and we could see the full bow. As I realized my camera was at home, I wanted to slap myself across the face. I did take a photo of it with my phone, but I don't have the thingy that lets you upload from the phone to the computer.

Hey! Sorry I have been MIA lately...the good news? I have been busy on photo jobs! How are you and Mr Kenju??? I hope well. My mom is missing you I am sure!
OH and I love the shot!
Great green shot. And about picture on your cell phone, try emailing it to yourself.
I love your green. An it sounds like a wonderful project!!
I have learned my lesson too. I take my camera along even if I am only going to get eggs at the store.
Happy Monday!
That is green! Nice texture!
Mine's up too.
Oh that is a crying hame Judy...! Indeed, maybe it would be best to tie the Camera to your wrist...! (lol)
Lovely "green" photo Judy!
I do carry my camera at all times. Now missed photos are usually those I miffed in my over excitement to capture a fleeting moment.
Still, I like your green photo above. Is is one of my favorite shades of my favorite color.
That is a great shot and perfect for the green project! Well captured :)
Judy,
I have been taking pictures since I was a child. I got my first Brownie camera when I was about 10.
Through the years I have constantly upgraded my camera until now I have a really nice Canon SLR that takes wonderful pictures. But....isn't there always a but?.. it is so BIG that I seldom carry it.
So, after years of longing for a first class camera, now all I want is a small litle one that I can slip into my purse or pocket like I used to do. I got some wonderful candid shots with the little Minolta camera I used to have.
So, now I will buy a small one and save the big one for portraits and more formal occasions.
Sorry you missed the rainbow, but Robert's suggestion that you Email the picture to yourself will probably work. I hope so...
I really like this shot. It let's us all know that SUMMER'S COMING!!! We are settling in here but I really miss you. Hope you are and Mr. Kenju are doing well.
Judy, if it's any comfort you're not the only one that has done that. My camera is always south when I'm north, lol!
Nice shot here!
Judy ~ Ah... GREEN! Finally spring is in the air! I am glad your daughter had a GREAT time in Australia... if it was anywhere as nice as the time Mrs. LZ and I had, I KNOW it was wonderful!
Yup - send the pic to your e-mail. That's worked for me!
I like the green photo - that would mkae a nice piece of art for your home!
Great green photo!! Sorry you missed the photo op. I would have loved to see the rainbow.
Kenju: Isn't that the way it always goes, great story. This is a fun Green shot.
I'd like to put my face into the leaves. Come visit me at Code Name Nora again!
Thank you
I am always made happier by the sight of a rainbow! Beautiful!
All wonderful pics in two posts...we have a few blades of grass trying to poke thru the mud and snow.....as usual lovely arrangements by you and ?Pam
This experience will pass in the night, and you won't remember it in...say...30 years.
I just love the "new growth" green. Ours is already changing to its darker summer green!
Here's a link to that rainbow: http://raleighskyline.com/content/2008/04/20/raleigh-rainbows/
...until the next time you forget it. Speaking from experience:)
Too bad you didn't have your camera to capture the rainbow. I hope the picture your phone took is good enough to show it in all its glory. I have used my phone camera a few times, but I'm not sure how to transfer the pics onto my computer. I've never tried to do it.
Project Green is certainly underway. I have a couple of other blog buddies who are doing this too.
I enjoy seeing all the pics.
I hope you are feeling much better.
