Project Green (Take One) ~ and a Lament!

New growth; the promise of spring. Go to Anna's to see others in the project.

**********

Of all the stupid times not to have my camera with me!! Tonight we were in a restaurant downtown, with 3 friends. I was facing the windows and suddenly I looked up and there was the most exquisite rainbow I have ever seen. It was very wide and very bright and we could see the full bow. As I realized my camera was at home, I wanted to slap myself across the face. I did take a photo of it with my phone, but I don't have the thingy that lets you upload from the phone to the computer.

Since Mark and Anna are doing the "Looking Through Project", I was devastated to realize that I had missed a perfect opportunity. Lesson learned: I will carry my camera at all times!

I love your green. An it sounds like a wonderful project!!
I have learned my lesson too. I take my camera along even if I am only going to get eggs at the store.
Happy Monday!

I do carry my camera at all times. Now missed photos are usually those I miffed in my over excitement to capture a fleeting moment.

Still, I like your green photo above. Is is one of my favorite shades of my favorite color.

Judy,

I have been taking pictures since I was a child. I got my first Brownie camera when I was about 10.

Through the years I have constantly upgraded my camera until now I have a really nice Canon SLR that takes wonderful pictures. But....isn't there always a but?.. it is so BIG that I seldom carry it.

So, after years of longing for a first class camera, now all I want is a small litle one that I can slip into my purse or pocket like I used to do. I got some wonderful candid shots with the little Minolta camera I used to have.

So, now I will buy a small one and save the big one for portraits and more formal occasions.

Sorry you missed the rainbow, but Robert's suggestion that you Email the picture to yourself will probably work. I hope so...

Judy, if it's any comfort you're not the only one that has done that. My camera is always south when I'm north, lol!

Nice shot here!

This experience will pass in the night, and you won't remember it in...say...30 years.

Too bad you didn't have your camera to capture the rainbow. I hope the picture your phone took is good enough to show it in all its glory. I have used my phone camera a few times, but I'm not sure how to transfer the pics onto my computer. I've never tried to do it.

Project Green is certainly underway. I have a couple of other blog buddies who are doing this too.
I enjoy seeing all the pics.

I hope you are feeling much better.
