Leonardo ~ The Hard Way!

I am nearly speechless at the creativity and planning this must have taken. I received the photos in an email, and I have no idea who the man is or where he is from. The board it is on appears to be at least 12 feet tall.

It's astonishing how talented some folks are! There's a man around here that can look at a piece of old rusty metal from a tractor or shovel or car door, and next thing you know, it's a high priced work of art for sale at Tamarak!

Amazing, Judy! Thanks for sharing!

I searched on Google and I found that the artist is Saimir Strati, an Albanian artist who hammers tens of thousands of nails and toothpicks into a wooden board to create his awesome mosaic art.

Click HERE to see his works. His site is HERE.

I love the photo of him laying his head down on the board. The look of total focus on his face.

It looks as if it could be Leonardo da Vinci; in which case I'm sure Leonardo - who was so inventive himself - would have approved. I'd love to see it in the flesh.
