Wedding Flowers March 5th

This is a fairly new venue here in our area; The Grand Marquise Ballroom, and this was a big wedding. There were more than 40 tables, and 4 different styles of arrangements (two large and two short.)

This was the Sweetheart Table, for the bride and groom. They could see all their guests spread out before them, except for those whose tables were on the mezzanine at the top of the grand staircase. The facility has two large movie screens which come out of the ceiling, on which can be shown any type of slide show or video you want. For this wedding, a slide-show of the bride and groom from childhood to the present was showing.

The wedding cake was placed at the top of the stairs, on this cake stand studded with Swarovski  crystals. The cake wasn't ready to be shown yet.

A table in the lobby of the ballroom. This venue is adjacent to a large jewelry store (Anfesa's) which caters to brides and their families, as well as the general public.

Wow, what an elaborate setting. Somehow I don't think I would have gotten an invitation to that one.
The display on that table is amazing.

that's some kind of fancy, right there. Every girl's dream reception hall, isn't it?

Mrs. Kenju, you have a whole lot of very affluent folks in your area, but I guess that's the same everywhere. These arrangements and decorations are exquisite.

Wow! Gorgeous flowers, and the cake stand is really outrageous.

How beautiful and elegant are those arrangements? How unusual to have black tablecloths at a wedding.

My goodness ... it's a little over the top for my taste, but what do I know? Where are your floral arrangements. I'll bet they outshone everything.

My goodness - that cake stand is dazzling! I would be worried that it would out-shine the cake! And the bride!!

I forgot to mention that this was Mel's wedding; I merely helped to set it up, and I did the shorter vases on the tables.

Athennaaa,

The cake stand is owned by the venue, and I don't know where they got it.
