Our weather was glorious yesterday. We reached and then passed the previous record of 80* for that date and went on to 85*. I pruned some dead wood out of my forsythias while they are in full bloom and the bare canes can be seen easily. I usually don't get around to it until the bushes are in full foliage, making it harder to see the dead parts.  (Don't ask why the copy in the post decided to assume this form - I have NO idea - but it makes me angry.I need to re-do this wreath. It is old and shaggy. Maybe I should just toss it out and start over...lol)

Boy do I need to do something with my forsythias. They are really scrawny. Maybe I should do a bit of pruning also. Thanks.

I spent three days pruning a bush that was damaged by the extreme freeze we had last month. I am afraid to prune more because some stems look dead, but green leaves are forming on the ends. I am not an avid gardener and really don't have a clue as to how to prune the bush. I am probably killing it.

I don't even know what kind of bush it is. It has small lacy leaves and tiny white blossoms.

Judy,
I really think the wreath is pretty...and I find it interesting you've had problems with your blog but was actually thrilled you were able to leave a comment on mine once again! Weird...
I too loved the weather yesterday and today :) we hauled mulch and top soil and plan on heading to the nursery next weekend to get shrubs and bushes to plant. The next week looks gorgeous :)

Blogger isn't being nice to me either. Loved the little wreath though.

I think the wreath is beautiful!

Mr.G cut our forsythia all wrong last year and we have hardly any flowers. He won't be told!

What a beautiful wreath!

Did you know that I always wish to do a wreath to my door?

Have a pleasant Sunday!
