Quotes of Note and Helpful Hints

I'm sure that someday children in schools will study the history of the men who made war as you study an absurdity. They'll be shocked, just as today we're shocked with cannibalism. (I hope you were right, Golda.)

Henry David Thoreau, naturalist and author (1817-1862)

Want to know how to keep your tall boots looking good?  Buy a foam
"noodle" used as a swimming pool toy, and cut them to fit the height of your boots. They will stand tall and stay looking nice. When I went shoe shopping yesterday, I realized just how much the shoe stores could benefit from that tip, especially with "over the knee" boots.

Need to remove Magic Marker?  Use toothpaste! (But don't use the whitening type!)

Love the quotes and only hope Golda was right. Somehow I don't see it in my lifetime.
