At Duke Gardens

The reflecting pond outside the main building has beautiful metal iris sculptures...

The pergola structure, under which the bride and groom had photos, is covered in wisteria, with hanging pods. I bet this is gorgeous in the spring when the wusteria is in bloom.

Posted by Picasa     Once again, Tracy of My Thoughtful Spot has taken a prompt from me and written a very insightful post. I think you will enjoy it.

Beautiful pictures. Thanks for "taking" me on that trip, if only I had some of your talent in taking of pictures. Hey, thanks again.

Thank you Kenju for the 'call-out!' I so appreciate your support.

I love the wisteria pods...the first thought that came to mind staring at the picture was 'oh, what a tangled web we weave' thinking of all the people who come into our lives and touch us with their presence.

That wisteria would be divine in the spring to be sure. I planted some american wisteria and it really didn't grow much this year. I am debating moving it out behind the fence under a tree where it will have a more sturdy support. I want to try crossvine on my trellis.
