More of the Thomas Day Exhibit

I hope you can enlarge this and read the caption. The needlework on this jacket was exquisite!

I don't know much about transfer ware, but this must be one of the best examples around.

More woodworking tools...They had a really neat woodworking shop set up as it would have been in the 1800's.

Click to enlarge......Some of Thomas Day's philosophy...he appears to have been a very intelligent man!

For some reason the pictures won't eblarge. Too bad because I would LOVE to see all these things in more detail....It looks like it was a FANTASTIC Exhibit!

Just popped by and caught up on your posts :) This exhibit seems very interesting and that bowl in your last post is exquisite!

I love your Halloween decorations too - it's not such a big deal over here.

If we ever had to return to all the hand work it took to get things done, we would not survive.

I promise not to spend any of my shillings on candy today. (But I make no promises about tomorrow.)
