A Mixed Bag of Leftovers

How pumpkin pie is made. Now, don't you want several for your Thanksgiving dinner? I know I do. (Click to embiggen)

What a clever shower! I don't know where this is, but I like it!

Civil War photo. The men are in Virginia, looking across the Potomac toward Georgetown University, up on the hill. Georgetown is mr. kenju's Alma Mater. I think it's been there since day 3 of Creation Week.

How sweet is that? And another below. That fawn certainly isn't afraid of the big, bad horsies.

I hate to do it, but I'm getting so much comment spam lately that I have to turn on comment moderation. Maybe after a few weeks I can get rid of it. Sorry.

Happy Friday the 13th for all you triskaidekophobes!

I had forgotten it was Friday the 13th ! But I am sure I would have remembered when I got to work today. You are so good about posting, even when you are busy!

Love your leftovers.
No, I am not a triskaidekophobe (what a word!) but at least I learned that word today!! :)

Love the horses and fawn - incredibly small. Thanks for reminding me about the day - I'll be extra careful.

Oh, Judy, I know what you mean. I just had to do the same thing with my comments.
My trash cans also disappeard and the spam was a bugger to get rid of.
Wish these creeps would get a life.
I loved the Civil War pic.

I had to go to "blogger consent" also. The Span stuff is a pain. I love the horse picture.

I am getting comment spam, but it appears only on the older posts because you don't go back and check those as often. So I have selected comment approval only the older posts...and not on the current.

The fountain is in Millennium Park in Chicago, designed by Jaume Plensa. We were supposed to have a Plensa in Raleigh, but it was voted down. Our loss. You can read more about the artist here: http://www.millenniumpark.org/artandarchitecture/jaume_plensa.html

Love the pumpkin on the toilet making pies!

Love those pics, and most especially the fawn and horses.

That pumpkin on the throne is sooo funny! I love the photos of the beautiful horses and the trusting fawn.

The Civil War photo reminds me that I had two great grandfathers that fought and were wounded in the terrible war.

Adorable and wonderful photos.....are you OK with the weather that is on your coast? As for Friday the 13th....no date could actually make things much worse...well, I guess there is one thing that could be. I'm am saying bad things to help get rid of your spammers.

Nice pics, I was getting a lot of chinese span running through back posts of mine, so I put comment moderation on everything older than a week--I haven't had the problem since.
