I posted the photos I took of this wedding here, but these are the professional photos very kindly sent to me by the photographer, Charlie Dickens. I like the special effects of the first one; although it makes the flowers appear as if they are neon bright.
This is the bride's bouquet, resting in the silver holder I bought years ago at an antique show. It was originally a candle holder, but it makes a perfect way to show off a cascade bouquet and it can double as a table centerpiece.
These are the same arrangements that flanked the ceremony area. After the vows, they were moved to this mantel for the reception. They really show up a lot better here than they did on the floor in front of the draperies. I've made this my header photo, as you can see. I finally figured out how to make it a little smaller.
I am working today and Sunday, so I'll have to catch you later.

Gorgeous pictures. The colors are tremdous.
Have a productive weekend -- make sure you take time for you.
Hugs,
Sue
Yes you are right about the black and white photo. I suppose they are always experimenting for different effects. That B/W with some colour can work as viz Kim's (my side bar) latest post. Take a look - when you have time to spit:)
I did something similar to what was done in the first photo with my grandson and bubbles he was chasing. I kept the bubble colors. I do not think this works with the flowers though, because it detracts from the faces which should be the primary focus in this venue.
Makes you wonder how did they do that with the flowers on a black and white photo. I just have to get past this point and shoot phase. I love creative photography. Very neat effect.
I very much like the arrangements on the mantle. Netchick sent me. :-)
They are lovely - and I especially like the Bride's bright bouquet! Nice change from the gentler ones!
I think I said before I thought this a chic wedding, with the black and white.
We've come a long way from the old 'photo tinting' of 50 years ago. I had a friend who tinted for a photographer. We do love color. I like that brides are moving into brighter colors from pastels.
Fantastic! I so love the vibrant colors against the black and white back drop.
Judy, you are an artist...rosemary said once again.
I think the black and white with the flowers in color is dramatic, but the eye is drawn to the flowers instead of the bride. While the flowers are gorgeous, it's supposed to be the bride's day. She is so pretty that I hope other photos are in full color.
I am fairly certain that the bride received her photos in full color, and the photographer did special effects to highlight the flowers for me.
I wondered what happened Charles after "Tale of Two Cities" :)
It's interesting how the bride and bridesmaids are in b&w and the flowers in color.
The flowers are an explosion of color. Very nice! I know the couple loved it. Keep up the good work!

I LOVE how the bouquets aren't symmetrical. They're like different arrangements depending on how you look at them.
I must say I love all your Headers. They make your blog so welcoming.
Hopefully after a weekend of work there will be more treats in store for us in the days ahead.
Take care and some time for yourself.
