I just discovered I can label photos with Picasa. Who knew??
While eating breakfast this morning, I saw movement in the woods again. I took the camera out to see what it was, and there were four deer (two adults and two fawns) back there. I took 2-3 photos, but the only one in which any of the deer show up is this one. He is just under the word deer, and you can only see part of his body. They sure know how to blend in with the background!! Click to enlarge (I hope). Whether you can see the deer or not, it is such a beautiful, green, serene view that I thought you should see it.

It is a gorgeous day here today; 83*, sunny, with a light breeze and low humidity. We are blessed. Come on over and jump in!
Here I am Momma; right by your side, as usual. Can I do anything for you? Lick your feet? Nudge your legs? Wouldn't you like to brush me?
A few weeks ago, I potted some plants, and I promised to show you when they got bigger. Here is the purple verbena, which has a way to go yet, but is growing by leaps and bounds. Click the link to see when they were first planted.
Here are my zinnias, which had only 2 blooms when I bought the plant. It likes it here, too!

I guess your shoes weren't available for cat lovin'. :-) We see loads of deer in our yard (both the front and back), too. Sometimes, they just sprawl out for a nap! Very silly!
What a lovely yard! and I could see the deer -- just barely! They are clever at hiding aren't they? Your flowers are gorgeous! love the colors! And what a lovely pool and an adorable cat! Life is good, isn't it!
Dear/deer
I don't know if the pics were clickable, but I just hit ctr + a couple of times and enlarged everything and I can see the deer...barely! They are so clever and still, when they hide. But they are so dumb, when they wander aimlessly around highways!
I always like to see pics of the cat, and pool sure looks inviting. Would you believe it was actually cool enough for a jacket here tonight ...very strange weather!
Your Verbena and Zinnias are beautiful. Zinnias are one of my favorite flowers.
The whole place looks heavenly.
Great photos. Look what a nice setting you have- all that lovely lush green. And that inviting pool. How close are we going to live again, once I get to NC? Cuz I'll definitely come over.
I am coming right over... to walk in the woods. They look wondeerful!!!
Wow!!! It's weird here. It's July and it's really quite pleasant. Not hot at all. So much for g;obal warming!
Your kitty and flowers are lovely!
Even with the label I can just see a patch of tawny color where the deer are, Judy. They do blend in well.
Lovely pics and flowers. Well done.
I didn't get the labels to work but I blog then and label them in dashboard. I have to be careful - a careless click and it vamooshes.
Oh my! You can see that from your house! The deer would be a bonus for me! I did manage to spot him - wonderfully camoflaged. And your plants are just gorgeous. The rotten English summer has washed mine out, I'm afraid - the begonias are looking very sad.
Sounds (and looks) like yo're having a lovely weekend. We don't see many deer here and certainly not in the garden!
Love your back yard. I'd have to hang out there a lot, when not in the pool that is.
See that little white spot on your cat, that would be the spot to shed on my black clothes. :)
Judy,
You were the first one to tell me about Picasa and I tried it and I love it.Thanks!
I love the way you can make collages. Have you tried that yet? Now, you tell me you can label your pictures. That's next.
I think you are a very lucky girl to live in such a wonderful house in the woods with a beautiful pool.
Lucky but deserving.....
I could see the deer. The green of your woods is lush and beautiful. Very serene there.
I would have missed the deer if you hadn't pointed it out with your label. Your woods are so inviting, as is your pool. We are in the high 90's and 100's here.
I took my granddaughter to our complex pool only to discover that there was a dead rodent in the filter. She was so disappointed so I will stop by your house to let her swim. ;-)
Your place is so lovely, I wished we lived nearby and could come over to visit, and enjoy a cup of coffee.
The deer are such a pretty color this time of the year.
My sister's yard is like a deer sanctuary, especially during hunting season. But, trying to get a picture of them is like trying to get a picture of a Bigfoot. What a beautiful yard you have, though! Love love love the cat picture. What gorgeous eyes!
I want your pool!!! And your yard! it's gorgeous!
I had a lot of catching up to do over here. Your eye for all things beautiful is exquisite. Your kitty is such a pretty girl. I'd brush her.
