More Odds and Ends

Mel Day made these bouquets today for the weddings on Sunday. Cascade bouquets have been out of favor for about six years, but they are making a comeback now. I have to make one for one of my brides later this year.

Those beautiful "cool water" roses again, with dendrobium orchids, sweet peas and hydrangeas.

This is where I would be had I opted to go to the beach this weekend. Marriott's Grand Dunes in Myrtle Beach is a glorious destination!!

Now, do yourselves a favor and watch this amazing display of young talent!

I'm glad cascades are in again.

Judy, this is another of your posts of beauty including the video at the end. The world is full of great talent and these teenage boys have definitely joined the list. I've forwarded to my grand daughters so they may select their future husband from any of the three:)

Thanks for the MB photo, my tongue is hanging out. I always miss the taste of salt air on Memorial Day weekend. Instead, I'll be up here where the weather has finally turned warm and the mosquitoes are out with a vengence.

Their voices sound so mature for their obvious youthfulness. Course you can sing anything in a Latin language and I am so there!

Is it too late to make the beach? Not sure I could have missed that.
Loved those three boys. They would have made Simon smile, they did me.

I love cascade bouquets; call me old fashioned. Those beautiful roses have such a wonderful shape.

Those kids have beautiful voices. They remind me of the IL Divo quartet.

I had a cascade bouquet 30-odd years ago and I like them a lot. I like the way y'all are using a more interesting mixture of flowers.

I like Myrtle Beach, too. And that is a gorgeous hotel!!!

These guys are awesome!!!! They should call themselves The Three Young Tenors. The remind me of Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Jose Carrera's Three Tenors tour.

If I could have arrangements that contained those cool water roses everyday, I would gladly showcase them in my vase! Just beautiful!
