While the cat's away.....

you can play with Maxine!

I sure wish my car had heated seats. I know someone who has them and they are wonderful! Maybe in my next life I can afford to get a car with all the bells and whistles!

Mine never did that.....LOL

I've been lucky not to have much of either this winter. Now that I've said that, however.....

Heated seats are one of those things that I never thought about until I got them. Didn't want them, they came with the car. Now I can't live without them.

Judy,

They make heated seat covers that plug into either a cigarette lighter or DC outlet in cars. My daughter bought me one for Christmas three years ago. It has controls for low, medium and high heat. It also has a vibrating massager.

It works real good too.

I have just the one on the drivers side seat of my pickup.

I don't remember off hand who the manufacturer is, but I'll look tomorrow to see if there is a label still on it.

If I remember right it cost around $30.

LOL, LOL...I LOVE Maxine....! Some of the stuff she says...BRILLIANT!

Instead of getting Heated Seats, Judy, just buy a car with CLOTH SEATS---if you can find one---They never get cold or even too hot!

Aren't heated seats wonderful. I've had them on hire cars and they are so nice in the cold and for easing back ache! Unfortunately I don't have them either. I don't even have electric windows!

The cartoons are great :)

You are so ahead of the game with having posts ready for when you're away. I can hardly do a post when I'm home.

Maxine is always a good fillin, isn't she.

Love Maxine anytime.
As for heated seats, I am still hand cranking my windows like Bob-Kat. Works those bye-bye arm flaps.
Hale's idea sounds promising.
However my sister in Florida recently bragged about her new SUV with heated seats. HUH?? A real necessity in Florids, this year being an exception. Hope she comes to visit me in Winter.

My friend has "heated" seats, something I am unaccustomed to - until I find my butt being fried as we travel somewhere. He really thinks it's funny - my butt doesn't. :)

It's fun to check in with Maxine. It's as if she's a reoccurring guest blogger!

I don't have allergies and I've managed to avoid the flu this year too.

Of course March is the second wave of flu here in Ontario, so I better not get too cocky!

I quit driving before the advent of heated seats. It's just as well, they would probably malfunction and give me the hot seat.

Nothing like warm bum - in or out of a car:)

My husband's car has heated seats. I refer to my passenger seat's as my "@ss warmer." I love that thing.

Hurry, hurry, hurry..... find some wood and knock on it!!! ; )

I think a heated tile floor in the bathroom or perhaps a heated toilet seat would be a true luxury!

I'd rather let my boobs chatter than get my buns toasted.
