I don't trust a man who uses the word evil eighteen times in ten minutes. If you're half evil, nothing soothes you more than to think the person you are opposed to is totally evil.

Whew! I baked 3 apple pies today. One was for my boss's birthday, one for a neighborhood group meeting and one for mr. kenju. There's NO possible way I can make desserts for other people and not make one for him too. He's a happy camper tonight. If I want him to be particularly pleasant I ply him with food. He's the epitome of the old saying that "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach."
The recipe I use is from the old 1950's edition of the "Joy of Cooking" by Erma Rombaur Becker (I think that's her name). I have tried other recipes through the years, but this one simply can't be beat! Bon appetit!
