Shhhhh! Don't tell - I'm posting dirty pictures......

This is Scott Wade from Texas. He lives on a dirt road and car windshields get very dirty. In stead of writing "Wash Me...." look what he can do!!

He copies famous paintings and adds twists of his own, such as:

The Mona Lisa by DaVinci on a background of Starry, Starry Night by Van Gogh.

This may be from his own imagination - LOL - The sun, smoking a churchwarden.

TRAPPED! Let me out of here!

"The Girl with the Pearl Earring" by Vermeer. If you haven't seen that movie (or read the book) I highly recommend them both!

Scott Wade....Isn't he amazing?

Love it when people march to a different drummer and excel. Will check out the book. Thanks

Very cool but so sad that it is all so temporary.

Tabor echoed my thoughts. It's a shame that such great work will have to be washed off before driving away. I hope he also uses his talent on more durable objects.

All I can think of is how he gets all those cars dirty and what happens when it rains! They are amazing!

Did I see it here or read it somewhere else ... about the artist who carves things so small that they can only be seen with a micros ope.

I love his work. I've been wanting to read the book. Perhaps I'll pick it up today, thanks!

Like sand sculptures at the beach...they will eventually go away. But I admire the talent of some. I am not in the category.

Send him our way. We live on dirty country roads and have two vans completely covered in dust. Hum, I just might try something myself -- i.e. stick figures:) As always Judy, these are great!

Wow. That is amazing!!

Amazing! I wonder if part of the satisfaction he gets himself, is because it is ephemeral.

Well, I would never want to wash those windows !

My first that was that he has WAY too much time on his hands...but that's just envy rearing its ugly head. I wish I had that kind of artist talent...

What a talented man!

Mind you, he'd need to sculpt my car with a hammer and chisel :-(

Love it !! Vermeer is probably turning over in his grave. I always get a laugh out of your blog, Judy.

Yes, he is amazing. And I agree with you about The Girl with the Pearl Earring. I saw the movie starring Scarlett Johansen, and it is really good.

Send him over, right away. My car needs some art work. ;-)

I'm always amazed at these kinds of artists.

We have one in Boston who goes by the name of Sidewalk Sam. He reproduces the works of the masters in pastels on the sidewalks of downtown Boston. The finished products look just like the originals. If it doesn't rain, his works can be visible for two or three weeks after. Out of respect, most pedestrians will walk around them rather than walk across them.

He looks like he needs to take a shower....

But hos art is cool. Too bad it's so temporary.
