NOTES to SELF:

1. Don't chew gum with your mouth open when you are spraying caustic cleaner into the black and crusty maw of the oven. (Gum and oven cleaner don't taste great together).

2. It's a good idea to wear a bra when house cleaning, since you never know when your husband will bring home a friend after lunch. On second thought, if you're still in your nightgown, you're not expected to have on a bra (are you?)

3. If you're a guest at a party, try to look halfway decent when your photo is being taken; not as if you are snarling mad at the cameraman, and tell mr. kenju he should attempt to mimic a real live person for photos, not one who has been under ground for a month or two. (Don't ask, because I will never show you that photo! It was taken at an anniversary party we attended in the summer and the photographer should have destroyed it!)

4. Ask why the font size on #1 above stays the same size, no matter how many times I attempt to make it smaller?

P.S. Someone emailed me yesterday that she couldn't comment on my post or see the photos from several of my previous posts. If that is happening to you, please email me about it:
kenju99@gmail.com , and thanks!

Good points Judy.

I learned the hard way about no 2.

We had a neighbour who WAS very friendly and came to the fence and whistled to get our attention if my husband was home. When he was working the neighbour just crossed the fence and came right into my kitchen on some pretext or other.

One day I was working away braless, making bread and before I knew it he was behind me and his hands were moving up under my blouse. Quick as a flash I turned and hit him hard with a big floury hand across his face! I often wondered how he explained that to his wife. My doors were kept locked after that.

I can see all your lovely photos. I think I would have been very unhappy with hubby in #2.

My husband knows to call ahead most days. I rarely wear a bra when I'm home alone.

And Grannymar? WOW! Good for you!

No worries for me on #2. I ALWAYS wear a bra (sometimes I even sleep in one). The girls flopping around free? Not a pretty sight.

Now, about #2...these babies just fly all over the place. When at home - the lounge wear (pants & sweatshirt) are always on. I call that my work attire. Heck, they hang so low, everyone thinks they are part of my belly.

Good advice...! (lol)

Is Blogger giving you fits?? It seems many people are struggling with Blogger problems...I HATE THAT! I hope it gets straightened out, my dear.

I can see the photos and comment....but sometimes your fonts are all over the place and sometimes there are lines in odd places....I thought you were just making your blog interesting.

I vote for optional bras no matter what you are wearing...as for the unexpected guest....that would be an IOU from Steve.

You need a bit of cheer. Can't send you a bottle of spirits, but here's two little stamps I made:

Little Butterfly

Bigger Butterfly Stamp

Use them as you will. I think you can just right click to copy them.

One thing I am thankful for is my self cleaning oven. I used to hate to spray the oven with the awful smelling cleaner.

I have 2 old Fortune magazines with some similar ads. One is from 1935 and one from 1940. they are in remarkable shape and were printed then on really heavy paper.
