Important Question: Do you have any idea why my computer screen suddenly turned yellow? This morning, I was opening email and the screen (normally white) turned a sickly yellow-green. The email looks okay, but photos on the internet look horrible.

Yesterday, I downloaded new virus/malware/adware software. I've wondered if the yellow-green screen indicates a problem with it?

Your screen is probably losing the battle to be normal. It's happened to us a few times, too. I don't know the technical term for it, but it might be time for a new monitor (good thing they've come down in price a lot recently).

These are simply FANTASTIC! he perspective is absolutely mind-blowing! I don't know how he does that! It is truly magical....! A joy to see, Judy....Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

I do not have a clue what the problem could be with the Yellow Screen....But I hope someone of your many commenters will know or at least have a suggestion!

If it isn't your monitor I wonder if it could be your video card...if computers still use those?

What an artist!!!

A yellow screen has never happened to me, but I swear I have a gremlin in my computer that is always changing something without my help. Never for the better, I might add.

Yes, the chalk art is mind boggling. I saw a video of him drawing one and he does it so quick and effortlessly that it's awesome.

They are just too amazing. Sorry i cannot help with your monitor. I am sure there is a tech savy commentor who will know. Good luck. I hope it is an easy fix and not a trp to a computer store.

Judy, I'm not sure if this would help, but if your monitor has a button to adjust color, it should have an option to "calibrate" the color. Try that. It will click on and off and kind of reset itself. If that doesn't work, try scanning for a virus. Or take it to a shop and have the lightbulb/tube thing in the monitor checked. My old one partially dimmed out like that and some of my pics were yellowed and I didn't know for the longest time, lol!

I sure wish Julian would visit my town with his talents!

More beautiful chalk pictures Judy, a couple of posts back you wanted to use a lovely picture of fall leaves as your header, I downloaded an excellent free program from the net called PIXresizer you will be able to reproduce the photo to exactly the size you want using this program... you may need to uncheck the box "retain aspect ratio" but the resulting picture would not suffer from this.

Judy,

About your monitor..Sounds like malaria to me. Have you seen any strange mosquitos in your house lately? Or, any you know?

Give the monitor two quinine tablets and call me in the morning.

I suggest you put netting over the screen in future.

That will be $225.00 consultation fee.. Does your moniter have Medicare?

I always find his chalk drawings so amazing. The detail and perspective are just so perfect.

I don't know about your monitor...probably what evil twin''s wife said.

After reading your comments, I like the malaria one the best! LOL

Hi! These are awesome! What a talent. Your monitor might be the one with the problem. I've found it can be a loose connection. If you fiddle around with the main cable from the monitor, you can usually sort it out. I think. Because mine does turn somewhat green occasionally, and that's how I sort it. By the by, I'd like to invite you to visit us at www.womenetcetera.com. We're a group of women who believe in embracing transitions and changes and making the most of our lives! See you there!

He really is amazing. I love it everytime I see his work :)

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what would make your computer do that.

Fabulous!!!!!!!!!!! I wish he'd visit us for our First Friday Event!

Your screen?

1. Try running your antivirus for openers and see if that works.

2. See if uninstalling your new spyware program. If the yellow screen goes away -- there's your answer. If I knew which program it is I could prolly tell you if it's worth a damn.

3. Go to Control Panel and click on Personalization and see if you can adjust the color.

4. Cry.

I'm not too good as a techie but I know the little things.

They are mind boggling. I'm wondering how he earns his living . Does he have to rely on people putting a penny in his hat. He's worth better than that.
Sorry about your problems.

I think it's probably just best to replace it.

The images on this post are incredible. I love that guy! (never knew his name till now thank you).

So happy you're still at this... someday who knows... maybe I'll get back to it but for now... I guess at least I'm doing something.

Hugs to you Judy!

Yes he is amazing. Very very creative. I love sidewalk artists. They seem to be the free-est spirits out there.

I will offer no advice about your computer problem other than to ask my wife. That's what I do.
