Get out and vote!
I got these photos in an email, along with some others and a lot of text, which I didn't copy. I love old photos, and these are very good examples of how our mothers and grandmothers fought for the right to vote and make a difference. Let's show them that they set a good example for us by going out to vote in November!

Good point. When my Mom was bed ridden, she still had them bring the ballot in order to vote.
Oh I LOVE these photo's too, Judy! And I LOVE THEM for two reasons...ONE, that they are old---like you, I am crazy about old pictures...and TWO, because they show the Bravery of women when it was not really Okay to March and Protest.....(It seems like we are back there, once again....!)
And I agree, It Is Really Important To Get Out And Vote!
Great pictures! And a great button! But - I GO POGO. Remember the old Pogo the Possum comic strip?
I got that email too. I plan on being in queue anyway, but it's a nice reminder.
What're we voting for, Judy? (or against)
Absolutely we must vote!
its not enough to talk the talk---once has to walk the walk----vote your convictions, if for no other reason than to keep alive your right to gripe. If you don't vote, means you don't care, and need to keep your opinions to yourself---I like to voice MY opinions---so I vote. (lol)
i guess i need to get out my Cat For President button.
I have not missed a Presidential election since I voted for IKE. I plan to send in for an absentee ballot soon. I do not relish standing in the long lines and I hope they are really long. Too many people are just lazy and say "My vote does not matter".
Love that button....I'd vote for you Judy. Love these great old pictures....beautiful.
Yay for youy. Sure to be, and so it goes.
Wherever you live, whatever your politics you need to vote.
Wise words from the wise to the wise and the not-so-wise:-) You have my vote Judy!
