Cue the Eerie Music......

I forgot to tell you about one of the most interesting things that happened when I was meeting with the women in my last post. I had made the arrangements with EvilTwin'sWife, and she called to invite Buzzardbilly and BlondeGoddess. I emailed Inanna before I left home and told her where we would be meeting and what time.

So, the day of the get-together, I go to the appointed place and discover that it is closed for renovations. Luckily, I had a cell number for ETW, so I called her and we changed the place to another one less than a block away. But I didn't have a way to contact Inanna and let her know, since I left home before her last email reached me (with her number).

I met up with the other three, and we are sitting at a table near a window, and out of the corner of my eye, I see a person entering the front door. It was Inanna! I thought....."How in the world did she know we were coming here?!" I jumped up and went to the lobby and she was as surprised as I was. I said...."How did you know we would come here?" and she replied...."I didn't, but I was hungry and this seemed like a good place." (You need to know that there are two other restaurants between the first one and the one we changed to.)

Being the weirdo that I am, I took that as a sign that they were all meant to meet, and it was going to happen, no matter that the first place was closed! During the course of the afternoon, we discovered that two/three of them are from the same county, and know people in common. There was even a possibility that they are distantly related. See how things work? You just have to listen to your intuition!

That happened to me once, in a similar fashion. I was at an online meet, and we'd all agreed to meet at Dennys before heading to Busch Gardens.

I walked into Dennys only knowing a few of the people there. But there were two, that I'd never seen a photo of, and instantly had a "feeling" that was who I was supposed to meet up with. It as uncanny! And we're still friends to this day.:)

You all look like you had a great time in that photo!

It was meant to be, clearly! :-)

Great pics of the event!

Sometimes it's eerie how things work out. I'm glad that you all got together after all.

How great! I've had an online email friend for about 7 years but we've never met. I hope to meet her someday. We were instant friends from the start.

Just read your comment on "Citizen of the Month". I'm Chris - thought I'd say hello...

I'm 42 with 3 sons and I have to be disciplined with my time so my kids and home don't suffer from blogging/computer time. I'm encouraging my mother to blog so I'm delighted to find mature bloggers.

I'll return...

Too funny... I posted about our meeting today and also the strange coincidence. You remembered some details I left out by accident(or by fault of my brain trying to blog, talk on the phone and take care of a 2 yr old all at the same time....)

Three smart girls! no wonder you look so happy. I'll bet it was fun.
I have an award for you 'Sharing the Love' which you surely do. If you accept it - it is on the bottom of my side bar. You really do deserve it and its the last time I will be giving awards as I feel I have been spoilt long enough.

That is kind of odd. Surely a sign that the stars were aligned in your favor that day.

Are you sure that the ghost of Rod Serling was not dining there also?
That was a true Twilight Zone moment.

nice photo--that's the second post I've read in the last two days about how things just "work out."

That is AMAZING, Judy....!
How wonderful that you met up with so many Blogger Buddies...! And the "six degrees of seperation" part is very sppoky, isn't it?

How wonderful is that, Judy. I do read ETW....and you know what we share. She is funny and irreverent. If I ever get to your neck of the woods....you are top of the list of folks i want to meet.

That sounds like so much fun. It's always great to meet people we know through internet but have yet to physically hug :)

I didn't quite figure you were going to be hitting the Taco Bell! As always, it just seemed right. I was very pleased that we all ended up together. An experience worth sharing.

I am certainly happy to read that the frustrations I have endured writing a blog are therapeutic. I was beginning to think the stress was bad for me. ;-)

Interesting, that of all the photos you posted, everyone comments on the lovely pic of the fawn and dog. I loved it too.
