The First Red Rambler of the Year

I worked all day, went to the grocery, drove to the airport to pick up a friend who's staying for the weekend, came home and made a salad and ate the bean soup I made overnight in the crock-pot, had lemon cake and strawberries for dessert and now I'm off to bed soon. Too tired to blog; catch me tomorrow - maybe. Have a good weekend, everyone!

What gorgeous flowers. I have three rosebuds in an angel vase I'll post soon. Enjoy your weekend with your friend--after you rest up.

Thanks for the heads up on Maytag, by the way, although right now I'm in good shape.

You are thinking of changing docs and I can understand with her further away and the price of gas. Our lives are changing with the economy spiraling downward.

BEAUTIFUL Picture, Judy....!
I love roses...and always have!
Rest up, my dear.
As to people being able to guess what plant that was on my blog---Well, I didn't really expect that at all---Especially when I could barely name it myself...lol.
It was more to see if people could guess it was a flower, though I didb't think this was as hard as that first one I did--The Shell.

I think I'll write a song about it.

OMG... that is just gorgeous!!!!

I've heard it's quite warm down there. Not so here. We're having a rather raw and crappy weekend. Seeing your beautiful rose gave me hope that Spring will finally arrive soon!

That's my idea of a great day. A good bowl of home-made soup, dessert and early to bed.
I can't believe I wrote that...I guess I'm really feeling my age !!
