Meme ~ Me ~ Meme ~ Me ~ Meme

Bobbie tagged me with a meme!

We start by giving you the rules we're playing by, so here goes:

Link to the person who tagged you.
1. Post the rules on your blog.
2. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
3. Tag six random people at the end of your post, by linking to their blogs.
4. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
5. Let your tagger know when your entry is up.

Since I have done this meme before, but I can't find it in the archives, I'll take a stab at it again:

1. I cannot abide stickers on book covers or magazines, nor inserts in magazines. They go right in the trash!
2. I cannot help collecting "things", but I am trying to control the tendency and also trying to get to a point where I can let go of some of the collections.
3. Mr. kenju says I am a know-it-all. My mom said it too, so maybe it is true.....LOL. I don't suffer fools easily, I do know THAT!
4. I enjoy driving my car, and I have enjoyed it since I learned to drive at 16. I didn't get my license until I was 17, however, since I couldn't master stick shift. I waited until my dad bought an automatic transmission before I took the exam.
5. I enjoy meeting new people, but I find it hard to introduce myself and I usually wait until someone speaks to me first.
6. I wish I had followed my first love and become an architect.

There you are, Bobbie. Nothing terribly interesting there. Since I did this before, I won't tag anyone now, but if you feel like doing this one - have at it - and let me know when it is up.

I think your six are great.
I did this one on the 12th, when Dianne tagged me, but could think of many more peculiar habits if I had to.
Thanks for doing it. I hesitated to ask, since it really is an imposition to some people, or they are just too busy, which is what I thought might be the case for you. i don't really think I'd like to do any more myself. It's sort of like the old Tupperware parties, isn't it? You have just so many friends you can ask, then it gets old.

Oh, I know you got collections. One only has to go to the blog before this one to find that out. Is there ANYTHING you haven't/don't collect?

Judy - I am trying to let go of some collections too. I've decided that a whole lot of possessions do not make me happy.

I have trouble meeting new folks, too. Although my choice of career might suggest otherwise, I'm quite shy. I'm much more comfortable sitting quietly at the edge of the room. I don't much enjoy parties, and prefer a peaceful night at home with my wife.

Maybe I should have been a monk :)

Test for Drivers' licenses are only using a stick shift over here...
I love to see other people's collections but I myself am trying to reduce mine, particularly after visiting my parents and seeing all the things they have...
I am like your nr 5 too.

Am not sure if I've done this one or not. Anyway, I'll save it for a rainy day ;)
I am not very patient with fools either! Poor fellows, not their fault, though ;)

I laughed when I read that first one....It's not stickers for me, but I cannot bear inserts in magazines...And that is the first thing I do when I get a magazine....ALL those things get torn out, immediately, and thrown ij the trash!
In fact, I even hate ALL the ADS in Magazines, too.....I actually stopped getting Vanity Fair because it was more than half ADS and Inserts....LOL! And one time a tore out ALL the ads and mailed it to The Editor of VF wiyh a note about how much crap was in the magazine and that made it hard to read....! Never heard a word back. LOL!

Did you learn to Drive in High School Judy? Just wondered....

Collections....Oh My! It is so difficult to divest oneself of one's collections...I know I cannot do it, and quite frankly, I really don't want to....They please me and give me so much....I guess if it became a burden, I would get rid of whatever ones felt like that.
Interesting MEME.....I think I did this a long time ago, too....I cannot remember....lol!

I think anyone who is a regular visitor here knows your love of collecting things :) You have an eye for beautiful and unusual things.

Gee - if you need some help clearing out those collections I'll take some boxes off your hands.

Purely as an act of unselfish kindness of course :)

I'm so with you on #1!
# 6 had me worried until I realised you were talking about a career not a husband:)

the first thing I do when I get a magazine is to go through and rip out all the inserts!

An architect. Wow. I had no idea. But then again... flower arranging and decorating... it's all about design.
