Anna posted one of her daughter's art projects and it reminded me of one I did in high school (1957). Mine is much simpler than Sadie's, but I like it - even though it is faded and has old scotch tape stickum on it. I had it framed a few years ago.

One must be drenched in words, literally soaked in them, to have the right ones form themselves into the proper patterns at the right moment.
Hart Crane, poet (1899-1932)

Evil is like a shadow - it has no real substance of its own, it is simply a lack of light. You cannot cause a shadow to disappear by trying to fight it, stamp on it, by railing against it, or any other form of emotional or physical resistance. In order to cause a shadow to disappear, you must shine light on it.

Nice Picture. I especially like the King quote.
Michele sent me.
I love your project.
And these quotations are really food for serious thought. Dr. King's words were always inspiring.
I love these quotes, so very true, but I especially like the Ogden Nash one as it has resonance for me at work at the moment.
Your piece of art is great and It's lovely that you still have it.
I love that last quote.
Love the Ogden Nash quote!
The Hart Crane quote makes me think I probably should just be quiet! :)
I like your artwork. Good for you getting it framed.
Art was my favorite subject at school. What was yours?
I had some good art teachers, and a few crummy ones too.
1957 eh, I was just getting started! Some day I'll have to post a picture of the quilt my grandmother made (I actually have two of 'em)
So if Crane is right one must read read read. If only there was time time time:)
I'm with mahala - the last quote was my favorite!
All beautiful quotes!
and your art project is wonderful, so nice that you framed it.
I like your art project. It shows a lot of imagination and design. I would imagine that is what makes your current floral arrangements so good.
What a cool art project Judy. I love it....and I love the colors. This would be perfect in a room where one would keep sewing, needlework, etc.
Great quotes!
I love Shakti Gawain--and your art work.
I haven't thought of Shakti Gawain in ages. Great quote.
