A Visit to Santaland - Part Three

I didn't crop the second photo in the right place, so there is a bit of overlap in this corner shelf unit.

The variety astounds me!

The branches of the small tree below are made of feathers. It is very old (probably turn of the century) and many of the feather parts appear to have disintegrated, but it makes a very nice "Charley Brown" tree, doesn't it? The tiny hand-blown glass ornaments on it are very old as well.

I couldn't guess what this Santa was made of - and neither would you, I think. The base is a lightbulb! Add tissue paper, cotton and some drawn-on features - you have a very nice Santa!I think this would be a good craft for older children and it is a perfect way to recycle burned out bulbs!

There's a part three?? Holy cow! I definitely don't have room in the house to store that kind of collection. Impressive.

Ho-ho-ho....can you imagine the dusting that has to be done with all of those Santa's? Steve has a saying (in response to the last post) "You have obviously mistaken me for someone who give a damn."

That is the most AMAZING Collection of SAnta's I have ever seen, anywhere...Including some shops I use to go to who were devoted to Christmas and Santa things!

Glory be! How big is this house? I am seriously challenged space wise in my abode and I can't wrap my head around how much space is needed for so many things. They are all amazingly great in a Christmas kind of way.

Imagine the dusting before you pack them away:( I'm afraid my maxim has become 'Life's too short to stuff a mushroom.':)

I am too worried about the dusting, lol, it's such a 4-letter word :)
The collection is truly amazing and the light bulb Santa is very creative!

What a collection. I love vintage Christmas stuff. But I wouldn't like looking at it all year long.
