A Review, A Quote and A new Word

I cannot recommend this movie more highly - for anyone over 60 - for widows - and for women who love to look at delicious men! Starring Joan Plowright, one of Britain's most celebrated actresses and introducing Rupert Friend, whom I predict will be a famous leading man before long. Go here to read a synopsis . Here is a cast bio for Rupert:
London's newest young actor, Rupert Friend attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts, and has already made a name for himself in such films as "The Libertine" and "Pride and Prejudice."

In Mrs. Palfrey, Rupert has risen to the challenge of playing a lead role - and when your co-star is someone as seasoned as Joan Plowright, that's saying something.
The movie is a little slow in places, but the characters are endearing and lovely to look at (at least Rupert is!)

Word of the Day: Abibliophobia (noun)Pronunciation:[ê-bi-bli-ê-'fo-bee-yê]

Definition: The morbid fear of running out of reading material.

Usage: It is quite interesting that this word has popped up on the Web, the greatest source of reading material the world has ever known. Irony will never cease.

It was a lovely movie, Judy!

I enjoy going to art house matinees by myself. I have recently enjoyed ONCE, THE REAL DIRT ON FARMER JOHN, SWEET LAND, and PARIS JE T'AIME.

Let's make a date and I'll buy the popcorn!

Okay, I'm writing that movie down on my must see list.

I love your new word discoveries.

Thanks, Judy, for this tip. I love this type of film. I also love Netflix because in order to see some of the films I would like to see I have to go into the City to the "Artsy Houses". But after their 1st run in the Ritz I can get it through Netflix. By the way, The Wall St. Journal said yesterday that Netflix had lost 55,000 customers in the last quarter. WOW! Wonder why?
I will definitly order "Mrs Palfrey" when it becomes available.
Did you ever see a 1994 film with Mia Farrow and Joan Plowright called "Widow's Peak?" It takes place in Ireland and has a few twists and turns that are fun. That's all I will say.

Hi, Kenju,
That sounds like a good movie. Did you see Mrs. Henderson? another good one.
Unfortunately, I didn't see Vicki. Her schedule was so packed, and I could tell that she was making time for me. When I was free, she wasn't and vice versa. She's a very busy lady. I didn't go to the zoo either...went to the aquarium instead. The zoo will come at another time, no doubt.
