Danger, Will Robinson!

Mr. kenju was afraid that the children had strayed too far from shore. It didn't matter that one of those children is 41, or that they were only waist deep.

(I guess we all need "Someone to Watch Over Me")

hahahaha! Love the way you worded this post, Judy. I just couldn't help laughing.
And you're right, we should all be so lucky to have someone to watch over us, no matter how old we get!

What I wouldn't give to have someone watch over me. But, I do have Cookie.

Someone must do all the fretting and worrying. Looks like Mr. Kenju has taken on the role.

I thought Tom Hanks had lost Mr. Wilson again... :)

Once a parent , always a parent!!

Until the very day my Mama died, at 91, she would tell me to "be careful," if she knew I was going to be out and about!

That's so sweet and Mr Kenju is a parent after my own heart. I still regard our forties and fifties as my boys.
Congrats: Venus Williams - is just now- the Wimbledon Champion!

I laughted so hard when reading about your husband's concern for the kids. . . no matter what age. It was like holding a mirror up to my own concerns.

My kids have photos of them as children in the ocean, but never any that show them out past their knees. I never would let them in the water without the promise that they wouldn't go deeper.

Now, inspite of my warnings, they jet-ski, windsurf, and God knows what else. To make it worse, my daughter already has the twins in the water. Tell Mr. Kenju, the kids never really listen, but he probably already knows that.

My mother died when I was 39, and one of the last things she asked me was: "Are you sure you are eating properly? You don't look too good"
Worriers will be worriers ;)
