I promised photos of Griffin the Lucky and here they are! His new papa sent these to me today. The top pic is pre-haircut and the bottom is post-haircut. Does "gray and scruffy" cover it, or what??!!
Don't you like a dog that can look you straight in the eye? I do - and people too - of course. My mom told me to always be suspect of a person who refused to look you in the eye, and I think it applies to dogs as well. It appears that we could trust Griffin, doesn't it?
While I am on the subject, you should know that Griffin's new mama is a fabulous interior designer and silk floral maven, and his papa is just about the best thank-you-note writer and nicest all-around guy I've ever known. His mama raised him right!
If you have not read the post about how Griffin got lucky, go back to May 13th and see his story.

What a lucky dog!
What a great looking dog! He really does look you in the eye! I am so happy for Griffin!! I would love to save them all. I have always thought that the mixed breed pound puppies are smarter and so grateful to those who give them homes.
Awww! he is soo adorable! I'm thrilled that Griffin got so lucky, too!
here via michele!
He tidied up nicely, I think - and what a lot of CHARACTER he has!
What a cutie he is. He's a very lucky guy...but so are his new mama and papa. He looks very lovable.
Oh My! Griffin is so dear!!!! He looks like a wonderful wonderful doggie! And he ceretainly lucked-out, but I think they did, too!
Sweet sweet pictures, Judy.
Are you sure tht dog isn't trying to steal my soul? Those eyes are a little intimidating!
To be honest....in the chair Griffin looked right at home....post clip...maybe not so happy...did someone make fun of his haircut? What a lucky family and Griffin...scruffy and not so scruffy.
He does look at you in the eye, doesn't he? Great-looking dog!
He looks a lot less scruffy in the second picture, Judy, but he does look a little jumpy. Must not like getting a haircut.
Give me a world full of doggies.
It would be great!
A spunky looking dog, I bet he's going to bring his new owners a lot of fun and memories.
Wow! What a cute! Griffin looks adorable! Sure, he looks straight in the eye! It's a good sign!
Griffin doesn't look very happy with his hair cut.
Does the style clash with his vision?
Are the eyes inquiring, or questioning?
Awww... what a wonderful story, with an amazingly heartwarming ending. And he's too cute! In fact, he reminds me of my grandma's dog from many years ago.
Not only is Griffin lucky, but it looks like J and A are too.
Lucky lucky!
