I don't know. I received an e-letter from the garden place about helping hydrangeas in the cold weather... but it was about three weeks too late. They look really rugged after the snow melted. The lenten rose looks fabulous though... I think they love the cold.
My azalea is currently preparing to bloom. It usually celebrates the winter solstice with a blossom or two. This year it's a little late, but better late than never.
I'm still waiting for my first snow so I am content to let Winter hang out till it shows its pretty side. As fast as time flies, Spring will be here really quickly. Hang in there.
When someone came round my house the first time recently they said they would have thought I was a florist - which is a hoot because I have zero skill at an arranging, but - like you - I must have flowers around.
Oh yeah....I needed that Judy. I can't wait for Spring either. Although, I hear we may be in for more snow again...now that it's all melted from our last batch. Geesh, I'm just not a fan of winter much anymore. ~Joy
I thought about posting some spring pictures to brighten the day. After seeing yours I am going to do that now....

ReplyDeleteThanks, Judy. I can use an uplift today !!
ReplyDeleteI do not play Christmas music except during the holidays and I also avoid spring pictures before spring. Yeah, I know, I am!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the blue flowers.

Thanks you for sharing these photos and reminding us weather will not last.
ReplyDeleteIt is a dark, damp and bitterly cold day here, so I am delighted to enjoy these colourful touches of spring.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! You should see the amount of snow that we have this winter in Sweden! (even in the southern part of the country) Annika

ReplyDeleteSpring brings spring break and grandkids!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reminders of spring. I have a blue hydrangea like the blossom in one of these shots which I enjoy so much when it's in bloom.
