Found some place I can't remember - so I hope whoever took the photo doesn't care that I've borrowed it. I think I might be able to do this all day long. How about you?
Shades of the days when the kids and I spent our days at the swim club!! I was 'as brown as a berry' as my mom used to say and the kids were busy and happy!!! How I long for those lazy days of summer!
Like Tabor, I used to take a tall glass of iced tea and a good book and float around our pool most of the summer. Now I have skin cancer and don't go near the water when the sun is out.
I'm sure the doggy has enough melanin in his skin to avoid my malady, though. ;-)
Fortunately, the rec center (to which I have a lifetime membership - courtesy of my having been a member while employed & the subsidy from my former employer) has indoor pools - one large, one small. I frequent the one nearer our home. Although I have always, as an adult, avoided the sun as much as possible, I had a facial basal cell carcinoma. Darlene knows how important avoiding the sun can be. (If only "they" had known that when we were kids, eh?) Cop Car

Oh please...if only.
Love that. I would want to have some shade over that though. :)
Yeah,I could do this all day, too, provided that dog would move over and promise not to bite.
A long time ago when we had a pool, I spent a good part of the summer doing just that. But we no longer have a pool, so I just sweat.

That dog knows how to beat the heat. He looks so cool and relaxed.
