Think About This for a Bit.....

There is nothing like desire for preventing the things one says from bearing any resemblance to what one has in one's mind.

Marcel Proust, novelist (1871-1922)

(I am reminded of teenage boys in the throes of passion. Also politicians.)

I'm glad to say I'm not big on desire, so I don't get into too much trouble because of it! :D

This is why like Proust and have never found him high brow. Felt a fellow feeling the first time I read him.

It reminds me of the angry youngster telling the older man ... "you don't walk like you talk" and the man replying:
"you'd better be happy I don't walk like I THINK !"
