| Sometimes I could swear that the guy who draws this cartoon is a fly on the wall of our house! The cardinal in yesterday's post was back for more this morning. I was in too big of a hurry to take another photo. Mr. kenju had an early appointment with a new doc (whom we both loved) and then the car had to be seen about. Unfortunately, it was yet another bundle of moolah, as well as two lost hours. I told the owner of the repair shop that we simply had to stop meeting like this - my credit card can't take much more. I'm trying to find the silver lining in this, but it is hard. |

Pickles is great isn't it? Sorry about the car, mine is due for some kind of inspection, 30,000 or 40,000, I forget, makes me tremble.
Heard in our house today... could be a cartoon.
Elderly man in pantry...."Would you like some chicken and rice? (soup, he forgot to say soup)
Elderly woman across the room..."You're in the pantry looking for a knife?
Man:"What?!"
Woman:"WHAT?!"

I was working at my computer all day today in my robe, and nobody mistook me for a bunny in a negligee. How come Heff gets away with it?
Car mechanics eat a bowl of credit cards for breakfast every morning:)
I feel your pain on that car thing - I have to get $500 worth of tires this week. Seems as though I just got the last set.
Oh, how the Evil Twin and I miscommunicate. It could be the next great comedy! LOL!
It's always hard seeing your money fly away on repairs and maintainence...car or otherwise. I felt the same way last year when my car had to have work done on it several times. In my next life I think I'll come back as a mechanic. ~Joy
