Budding Artists, Part Two

Thanks for all the nice comments about the art in yesterday's post. Today's three paintings were done by my 11-year-old granddaughter. I was amazed at the details, and very proud of this one as well.

I love this one, and I'm sorry that they have been folded (they should have been rolled). The colors are wonderful, aren't they?

Such a wistful-looking sheep. I love the color selection here too - most unexpected! Perhaps in 25 years, people will be lauding the two sisters from North Carolina who paint so well, and going to museums to see their work!

Another very talented young lady. I LUV the tree. I would frame that and put it on the wall.

Oh Judy,
That sheep photo is adorable...the look on the face is precious!
thanks so much for sharing such lovely artwork. I feel I have been culturally advanced and I do mean that! Their artwork is a lot better then what I've seen 'artists' pass off as art.

Can't believe how young she is. The work is really way above her age level.
Not sure I'll be anywhere in 25 years so guess I'll just enjoy the current art work today.

They're great! Loved the wistful charm of the sheep.

I can only echo what others have already said. I really loved the tree, but the color sense that shines through all three of these pictures just floored me.

The sheep is my favorite, although I like the use of design that her older sister uses. Both are very talented and you must be very proud, Judy.

The last one is so cute... it looks like a calf face with a sheep body... very whimsical indeed!

Well worth hanging in the house. You should see some of the scribble we have on the walls.
Its all in the genes.

I cannot pick a favorite. All are frame-able pieces of beautiful art right now.

Hmm. I've tried Firefox and Safari and can't see the photos. I'll try yet another browser.
