'Toons on Saturday

I think the guy who writes this one spies on me and mr. kenju.

Did you ever have a boss like this? Luckily, I can say I never did.

Goodness Gracious Judy, that must be how my students feel sometimes as well that I tell them just enough so the DO go down the wrong path...obviously it must be my fault since most have ADHD and can't focus on what it is I am saying! :)

funny-the second cartoon really does depict the feeling you get when you follow wrong directions from your superiors.

The creator of Dilbert owns a restaurant in Pleasanton, California and my daughter and I ate there once. (Not that any of this is relevant to your blog.)

Excellent, and yes I think I can relate a little to the first one as well ;-)

Hmm, sometimes my boss can be a little bit like the second, not with me but with other staff. Then I have to either fill in the gaps or tell him that what he said ain't gonna work!

The second one has a familiar ring.

I think everyone has had at least one boss like that!

The top one is applicable, I think.

The second one is so true because many bosses do not know what in the hell they want and therefore hope they can give you enough directions that you can figure it out. But since they don't know what it is...it will almost always be wrong!

The first one is Brill! I know someone who fits the bill to a tee.

I had a boss that thought quick decisions were the sign of a good leader. Then after we had been following his orders for a couple of hours, he decide we should do it another way. I learned never to do what he said, when he said but to wait. That really ticked him off but saved hundreds of unproductive hours. He really didn't like me but he was eventually fired. Aaah.
