More from the Governor's Mansion ~ 2010

The dining room table scape includes silver tinsel trees, glittery filigree deer and silver candelabra. The table has to be kept fairly free, so that the buffet servers will fit on the table during the many parties throughout the holiday season.
This vase of crystal baubles is in the center of the table, atop a mirrored pedestal, surrounded by a mirrored wreath.

The dining room mantel follows the silver and crystal theme.

The mantel in the ladies parlour also has crystals, with pearly silk flowers and two velvet stockings. Mel Day did all of the decor in these photos.

I love the silver theme on the tables. The bauble vase is especially beautiful.

You must be so in the spirit of the holiday by the time you are done all of this.

Love that dining room mantel best. That beautiful mirror really sets it off.

That is all so elegant - as befits the Governor's Mansion.

Normally I am not into all that glitter, but the vase of crystal baubles in the centre of the table is my favourite today.
