There are three of these tall bookcases, and I did arrangements atop all of them. The foliages are all fresh, and cut from the mansion grounds or state properties. |
The quilts dress up the windows and on the table will be a gingerbread house, a replica of our State Capitol building. I will get a photo of it on the 12th, when we attend a reception at the Mansion. |

Spectacular, Judy. I know what you do is hard work but because you get to decorate such special places and occasions, it probably is fun, too. Isn't it?
I love the idea of Quilts being the theme for the Governer's Mansion, this year. How did they come up with that, Judy?
I look forward to seeing much more.
I LOVE what you did, my dear!
Love that first one and what a unique idea for the quilts. What a cool job you have.
WOW!! now is this open to the public to view? That would be a fun trip...I love the idea of adding the quilts as a window decoration!
Once again, all I can say is "Beautiful."
Wonderful work as usual. I like the quilts
Beautiful as always. You make me proud to be a Tarheel!
Truly gorgeous and I bet it smells heavenly too! That is what I miss most about having a real tree.
I love the first arrangement on the bookcase most of all. Those touches of bright red work so well.
I love these arrangements. When you find something that works perfectly why not stick with it.
Beautiful! I took some photos of a holiday tea for the paper set in a holiday decorated mansion yesterday. Made me want to redecorate.
