TA DA!

Some of you know that I have been working toward this point since last November when I closed my business. There are still a lot of things to re-arrange and get rid of, but at least I can park in the garage whenever I want - and especially if we are getting snow during the coming winter.  YAY!

The cats view the garage as their own personal domain, so Storm was confused to see the car there. All the tables she used to sleep on are moved and the litter pan is not as easily accessible as it was before. She'll get used to it....lol

It's pretty unusual for anyone to keep their car in the garage here, they are just extra storage spaces for -stuff- ;-)

Our every-day car isn't in the garage because we have one of our classics in there (it's a big single garage); it's half way through restoration and I think it will be there for a while!

Congratulations on your car having a cosy space for winter.

Cats are such believers in habit and get so flustered when their environment changes. Congratulations!

Wow,I am so impressed. Just thinking of the physical exertion you had to go through for this outcome exhausts me. If I had one I would present you with the JUDY IS A JOCK award:)

Cats are so resilient that I'm sure she will find it. My (late) cat Sophie was so funny one morning - I had a guy coming over to work on the heating unit that is within the laundry room and where the litterbox was, so I moved it into the bedroom and sat it on a towel, just for the morning. When she spotted it, she stopped and really looked at it and then went to the laundry room door and looked in. I guess to see if it had cloned itself. I love to watch cats' thought processes. :)

It will be lovely to have your car inside!

Nice!! You have one happy car right now but one confused cat. Don't be alarmed to find foot prints on the hood and roof.

That garage looks great. In Vermont, a garage that holds a car in winter makes life so much easier. Nothing worse than getting up in the pitch black of early morning to brush and scrap snow and ice off the car before heading off to work.

Good for you clearing out the space for the car. It certainly makes looking after a car much easier. Your garage is way bigger than mine.

Great feeling esp if you are expecting snow. Here it is a forgone conclusion:)

I'm BACKKKKKKKKK!
It was the internal power supply. It was under the warranty so the cost was nothing... just the pain of withdrawal and having to try and get a 7 year old PC to move at more than a snail's pace.
So now I just need to finish all those projects I started when the Apple was broken.

Garage looks great! We have a 3 car garage but only manage to fit 2 cars in it because of all the junk.

Of course my car gets left outside!

What an accomplishment, Judy! You did GREAT! Poor Storm....it is hard when your "comfy" places are taken away....I hope he finds some new ones.

I'm so jealous Judy. I'm slowly working toward that goal too. I just had a new garage door installed on Monday; now I need to do some major cleaning out. You inspire me... Hugs, Joy

Congrats Judy. I have to show this to my neighbors, who all have 1 or 2 car garages, and yet have to park their many cars per household on the street.

Congrats! Sounds like you had so much fun, maybe you want to fly out here and go to work on my garage.
