Flower Shuttle on Tuesday

I went to the Flower Shuttle last week and here are some of my contributions.

Most of them are made in coffee cups, which make for small, compact arrangements that can travel easily and don't take up much space in hospital or rehab rooms.
This vase was purple, but it sure looks blue here. Oddly enough, the flower colors are all fairly true to life.
You may have noticed that I've been in a kind of blog slump. Working four days in a row was fun and I am grateful for the opportunity, but I must admit that the old body doesn't want to keep up like it used to. That meant that there were some things I didn't/couldn't do - and blogging was one of them.

You have done a brilliant job blogging about the fact that you didn't have time to blog and at least keeping us all posted . Those mugs of flowers are delightful and so very artistic. Hope you are getting some good rest.

What a wonderful ministry to those who too often get left behind and forgotten. I worked in a nursing home several summers in college and the residents were always so pleased and grateful for these small acts of kindness.

I think it is OK to take a break now and then from ones blog. I used to post every day and then went down to Monday thru Friday just to take a break from it.

Your flower arrangements are gorgeous. What is the flower shuttle? You've probably explained that before. I know the recipients were thrilled to get these. I love loose arrangements like that.

Enjoyed your pictues, I'd like to try little arrangements in coffee cups/teacups, what a great idea.

Wow. I could use any of those in any room in my house!

Great idea for flowers to be put in coffee cups when going to a hospital or rehab place. I got arrangements so large there was no place to put them and I had to send them home with my daughter. I loved the thought, but couldn't enjoy the flowers.

Your arrangements are beautiful and love the way the colors go together.
